How Do I know If I Qualify As Constipated?

I’m so glad you asked—because constipation isn’t just about how often you go. It’s about how well your body is eliminating. And for many people, signs of sluggish digestion can be sneaky.

If you experience two or more of the following in at least 25% of your bowel movements, then it’s a clear sign your motility could use some support:

  • Straining

  • Lumpy or hard stools (like rabbit pellets)

  • Daily bowel movements, but never feeling fully emptied

  • Not evacuating your bowels every day

  • Slow transit time (taking more than 24 hours)

But it doesn’t stop there. You might also notice:

  • That “not quite empty” feeling even after going

  • Hemorrhoids or anal fissures

  • Rectal prolapse or pelvic floor congestion

  • Bloating, gas, or brain fog

  • Anxiety or mood imbalances

  • Needing coffee to get things moving

  • Indigestion, headaches, or feeling sluggish

  • Diarrhoea (yes—surprisingly common!)

  • A dependency on laxatives or enemas

  • Rushing to the toilet at random times

  • Chronic stress that throws your gut out of rhythm

The list goes on… and you're not alone.

If any of this sounds familiar, it's not about blaming your body—it's about listening to it. This is your sign to lovingly support your gut and give your body the tools it’s asking for.
