 The Family Mentorship

Terms & Conditions

By joining the Family Mentorship program, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to the following terms. Please read them carefully before completing your enrolment.

 One

About the program

The Family Mentorship program is delivered by our practitioner team, including qualified naturopaths who are registered members of the Australian Natural Therapists Association (ANTA) and practise in accordance with its code of conduct. Depending on your tier, the program includes individualised naturopathic and coaching consultations, group mentorship sessions, and access to the Kultured Wellness Hub.

Your practitioners provide individualised naturopathic assessment and a treatment plan tailored to your family. These plans are prescribed for your circumstances specifically and are not general health information. Naturopathic care is intended to work alongside, not replace, the care of your treating doctor and other health professionals. You should continue to consult your usual medical practitioners about any health concern, and you should not stop, start or change any prescribed medication without the advice of your prescribing practitioner. If you or your child experiences a medical emergency, seek urgent medical care or call 000.

We may recommend that you or your child see a general practitioner or other health professional, and we may decline to begin, or may pause, naturopathic care where we consider it is outside our scope or not in your family's best interest. While every plan is tailored to your circumstances, naturopathic care cannot guarantee any particular health outcome.

 Two

Your responsibilities

To provide safe and effective care, we rely on you to:

  • Give complete and accurate information about your family's health, including current diagnoses, medications, supplements, allergies and, where relevant, pregnancy or breastfeeding
  • Keep us informed of any changes to the above during the program
  • Check with your prescribing doctor before combining any recommended supplement or herbal product with prescribed medication
  • Follow the agreed treatment plan as discussed, and let us know if you are unable to
  • Stop taking any recommended product and seek medical advice if you experience an adverse reaction

Where the program supports a child or young person, the enrolling parent or guardian is responsible for all decisions about that child's care, for putting any recommendations into practice, and for supervising the use of any recommended products. Naturopathic recommendations for a child are provided to the parent or guardian, not to the child directly.

 Three

Program tiers and inclusions

The program is offered in two tiers:

  • Private (1:1): includes seven consultations across our practitioner team, priority scheduling, and six months of access to the Kultured Wellness Hub.
  • Group: includes private naturopathic consultations, group mentorship sessions with our team, and six months of access to the Kultured Wellness Hub.

The specific inclusions, number of consultations, fees and any payment plan for your tier are set out in your individual enrolment or bundle agreement, which forms part of these terms.

 Four

Practitioner products, supplements and culture starters

Due to health and safety regulations and the perishable nature of these items, returns are not accepted and refunds will not be issued once dispatched, in accordance with Australian Consumer Law regarding health and personal care products. Any products or supplements recommended during your consultations are optional and are purchased separately.

 Five

Privacy and confidentiality

We are committed to protecting your personal information as required under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). Your information may be collected and used for the following purposes:

  • Assessing your health concerns
  • Providing naturopathic, coaching and mentorship services
  • Communicating with you about your program
  • Coordinating care with other providers, with your consent
  • Meeting legal obligations, for example mandatory reporting
  • De-identified use in research or case discussions, where appropriate

Your data will never be sold or used for unrelated marketing purposes. Where you take part in group sessions, we ask that you keep anything shared by other families confidential, and that you treat other participants with the same respect and privacy you would expect for your own family. For full details, please refer to our Privacy Policy.

 Six

Consultations: frequency and use

Consultations included in your tier must be booked and used within 12 months of your first consultation, unless otherwise agreed in writing. Consultations are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for products, credit or cash.

 Seven

Group mentorship sessions

For tiers that include group sessions, the following applies:

  • We aim to hold group sessions at a consistent day and time throughout the program. However, we reserve the right to change the day or time of any session where necessary, and we will give you as much notice as we reasonably can.
  • Group sessions are capped at eight families to protect the quality and intimacy of the group.
  • Group sessions are a shared space. We ask all participants to engage respectfully and to support a safe, constructive environment for every family.
  • We reserve the right to ask a participant to leave a session, or to remove a participant from the group program, if their conduct is disruptive, disrespectful or harmful to the group environment. Where a participant is removed for this reason, refunds will be at our discretion and any sessions and access already provided will be taken into account.
  • Group sessions may be recorded so that families who cannot attend live are able to catch up. Recordings are shared only with enrolled participants and are subject to the same confidentiality expectations set out above.

 Eight

Contact and support

You can contact our admin team by email for support throughout the program, and we aim to respond within 24 hours. You can also ask questions in our private Hub community, which is monitored by our practitioners Monday to Friday. Non-urgent questions may be deferred to your next scheduled consultation or group session.

 Nine

Payments

All payment terms, including any payment plan, are outlined in your individual enrolment or bundle agreement. Where a payment plan is in place, you remain responsible for completing all scheduled payments, including where you choose not to use all included sessions.

 Ten

Refund policy

In accordance with Australian Consumer Law, we offer a conditional refund policy:

  • If, after your first consultation, you or your practitioner agree the program is not appropriate for your family, a refund will be provided, less the value of any services, sessions and access already delivered.
  • Where a refund is granted, sessions already delivered will be charged at their full individual price plus a 10% administration fee calculated from the original program price, and the value of any Hub access already provided will be deducted.
  • For payment plans, if the amount paid does not cover the services, sessions and products already received, further payment will be required.
  • Refunds are not available for change of mind once the program has commenced, and are not available where a participant is removed for conduct reasons under section 7.

 Eleven

Cancellations and missed appointments

We require a minimum of 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule a 1:1 consultation. Missed 1:1 appointments or no-shows will incur a $100 fee unless otherwise agreed. Group sessions run to a set schedule and cannot be individually rescheduled. Where a group session is recorded, a recording will be made available so you can catch up.

 Twelve

Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee or right you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded. To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any loss or damage arising from the program is limited to resupplying the relevant service or paying the cost of having it resupplied. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any outcome that results from information that was not disclosed to us, from a decision to delay or decline medical care, or from a failure to follow your treatment plan or the advice of your treating practitioners.

 Thirteen

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia, and are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
